Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a new member to our core SW engineering team. The role is a mix of building new features while also helping us with the application scaling. The product is built on AWS, Ruby on Rails, PosgreSQL. In addition to that, any experience with React is welcomed.
Developers are highly involved in the decision making process. The role includes executing development tasks, contributing to architecture plans, and responding quickly to client needs. A successful candidate should have strong technical skills and the ability to interact with many different departments across the company.
Responsibilities
- Working with the team to prioritize company/product needs
- Developing new features on top of our products
- Maintaining an active testing suite as well as a strong QA process that the developer will be personally responsible for
- Managing and maintaining an active codebase

University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- Advanced knowledge of Ruby on Rails framework
- Familiarity with SQL, knowledge of any database engine (mostly PostgreSQL)
- Basic knowledge of Git, Javascript and CSS
- An advantage is knowledge of: React, API design, Unix/Linux
- Responsible approach to work, ability to work independently
- Willingness to help others and share knowledge
- Good analytical skills and thinking
- Good command of the English language
