About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will be part of our Pricing department, where you will be responsible for evaluating and setting up the price for ING corporate clients ie. products and services.
The type of products / services includes the daily banking business ie. accounts, payments, channels and cash management.

You will be in close collaboration with the sales teams, product teams etc. insuring good relations whiles balancing maximized profits for each opportunity.
This includes:
  • Conduct a detailed review of Customer requirement with the Sales teams, ensure appropriate pricing methodology is selected and profit maximized for each opportunity within the ING Management Product Group
  • Insuring adequate approvals are gained before sign-off.
  • Financial modelling of opportunities in MS Excel, applying appropriate cost adjustments where needed
  • Ensuring compliance with internal Guidelines and international legal requirements
  • Assist in innovating and improving the pricing process by “thinking outside of the box”
  • Establish good relations with the various sales teams, product managers etc across multiple countries.
  • Operational pricing - the day-to-day pricing of deals in pricing proposals.

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Experience in pricing environment in a business to business environment and/or experience in a banking environment is a benefit
  • Fluent Business English (Oral and Written)
  • Demonstrated ability to be analytical is a must
  • Customer focused
  • Persuasiveness and teamwork
  • Problem solving skills
  • Good excel knowledge
  • Knowledge of international business management or international relations is a plus
  • Strong planning and time management skills
  • Change management and flexibility
