Job description, responsibilities and duties

We‘re looking for people who can use their analytical power to help colleagues decide with whom ING should (not) do business. You‘ll join a team which provides service to ING Procurement organizations in more than 20 countries worldwide.

You will play an essential role in ensuring the good reputation of ING, as you:

Are the one responsible for collection of necessary supporting documents for qualification and the setup of new suppliers in the Supplier application for potential onboarding, as well as any setup changes for existing suppliers. This is an operational role, working closely with the local procurement officers, who coordinate the more commercial aspects of the enablement process.

Job Functions:


  • Use internal tools and processes to guide the Supplier through the document collection phase of the qualification process,
  • Document all contact with Supplier and ensure that data is synchronized between systems,
  • Assist suppliers with the questionnaire process for new suppliers , to navigate the technical aspects of the process,
  • Collaborate with local procurement teams to ensure smooth hand-offs before and after qualification,
  • Configure new suppliers in the Supplier application,
  • Manage workload using internal tools,
  • Become proficient in all aspects of Supplier platform application,
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager,
  • Identify and drive efficiency in the qualification process and process improvements on an ongoing basis.

Thanks to you ING can work on further analyses to know how risky and cooperative every supplier is, how often the supplier has to be checked and how far the research has to go.
