About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a part of local accounting, you will encounter the following activities:

  • Preparation of accounting entries in compliance with internal accounting procedures / with Slovak legislation requirements for the area of responsibility
  • Ensure accounting in compliance with internal/external regulations
  • Execute monthly/yearly closing procedures (reconciliation of payables/receivables)
  • Accounts for monthly/yearly accruals securing accuracy and completeness under the area of responsibility
  • Provide back-up for the activities within the department
  • Cooperate within Finance with controlling and procurement. Cooperates with all the IBSS departments regarding the mentioned scope of responsibility
  • Create payment instructions in line with internal payments procedures
  • Updates and completes the accounting procedures and WPIs under the area of responsibility
  • In addition to the above-mentioned tasks other accounting activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
