As a Senior People Manager, you are an inspiring leader who is a member of the management team. As a leader you will be responsible for couple of hundreds colleagues. Your main purpose, besides the daily run, is to improve continuously and represent the ING Shared Services as a service provider. Furthermore, the roll-out of operational management and the agile way of working should assist you in taking the next steps in our high performance service delivery.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • You take an ownership of the day-to-day service delivery, always keeping clients and risk on top of mind,

  • You provide strategic direction and thought leadership on the agile way of working and other necessary changes,

  • You actively engage as a member of the Management team for continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives,

  • You are advocate for our ING Shared Services community and our agile way of working,

  • You coach colleagues and team leaders in the transition from following requirements to driving the services and related change,

  • You help create a differentiating client experience,

  • In addition to the above-mentioned tasks other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.

Are you someone with following qualifications?

  • You are a strong communicator and listener.
  • You are a critical, strategic and step ahead thinker.
  • You are people and agile oriented.
  • You have fluent written and spoken English and strong verbal communication skills.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience with large scale operations in domains such as customer service, risk management or banking operations. Deep expertise in all success factors for a mature operations.
  • You have at least 5 years of people management experience including managing managers, proven track record of attracting, scaling and developing high performing and highly engaged teams.
  • You have proven track record of transforming operations to provide customer experience through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • You feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment.
