About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our team is growing, and we are looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented colleagues, with analytical mind and ability to make informed decision independently to join our back-office team of Global Alert Handling.

In this role you will monitor suspicious transactions and compare them against existing sanction lists. As suspicious transaction analyst you will work hand in hand with a team of experts, who are up to date with latest laws and sanctions regulations. You will conduct investigations and data analysis, identify and escalate potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitoring of international payments of ING Group for potential sanctions violations
  • Data analysis and investigation within available sources
  • Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns
  • Identification of areas for process improvement
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with teammates
  • Other tasks and administrative support on a day-to-day basis

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Experiences in banking, shared services or payment processing is advantage
  • English at the upper-intermediate or a higher level
  • Strong analytical skills and positive attitude towards problem solving
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
