About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

ING´s Cheque processing team is looking for a new member experienced in working in a shared service environment. Do you like to have good laughs, dare to make decisions in unclear situations, have a change mind-set and an eye for improvements? You’ll be the part of a family of Cheque processing team, who ensure that clients of ING get the best services on market related to money transfers in the form of cheques. Something for you?

How are you and your team contributing to ING?

You:

  • are responsible for the timely and accurate completion of daily production, including digitalizing cheques, entering information to processing system, dealing with issues and dilemmas
  • are part of self-organising team – you are not afraid to take initiative, propose ideas and make them happen if accepted by other member of the team
  • cooperate with colleagues within the team and whole department to gain insights on backgrounds of transactions in banking area
  • take part in security check of the processes executed by other teams within department

Your team:

  • is responsible for high-quality service in processing cheques for clients based in Netherlands
  • performs fraud detection and follow up actions in order to prevent financial and reputational loss
  • provides support for reconciliation and investigation activities in case of need
