Job Description

Role:
The mission of the Treasury Acquisitions team is to support the integration of Treasury operations for newly acquired IBM entities. The Treasury Acquisitions Team advise on all Treasury matters, including driving optimisation of cash and ensuring sound controls over Treasury processes.

Treasury Acquisitions have high visibility with the IBM Finance Integration team up to IBM CFO level, the senior Treasury management team, and externally with banks and the acquired entities organisation.

Responsibilities:
•Manage the transition of acquired entities’ Treasury operations into IBM while ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
•Act as bankers for the acquired entity, including foreign exchange investment and borrowing /lending requirements.
•Apply key IBM controls around all Treasury processes, including cash and payments.
•Partner with tax, legal and accounting throughout the integration process.
•Collaborate in a timely manner with various functions within the CoE, Mergers & •Acquisitions Lead and WW Treasury functions ensuring regular communication and status updates on the integration process.
•Lead small to medium size projects related to the integration of Acquisition processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
•Minimum of three years experience in a Finance role with in a CoE
•Third level Finance qualification or equivalent from a certified Finance organisation
•Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
•Strong prioritisation skills and ability to effectively multi- task
•Fluent English speaker

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
•Prior experience with acquired entities
•Experience as a Team lead or Project Lead for small to medium size Finance Integration projects
•Previous experience in a Finance Business Controls role
