Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Responsibility for accuracy and completeness of the accounting operations (excluding tax and salary operations)
• Implement HQ policies in line with local GAAP and regulations
• Identify difference between IFRS Group package and local GAAP
• Prepare the year-end statutory financial closing report (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Supplementary Notes).
• Act as principal point of contact for auditors and consultants
• Supervise whole auditing process
• Cooperate with SSC in Romania on daily basis
• Cooperate with controlling and tax team and with other departments at Huawei,
• Monitor and identify finance and accounting legal changes, inform the management about expected impact on the business
• Supervise AP Process
• Various ad hoc Reporting

Personality requirements and skills
• In depth knowledge of Slovak GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of slovak tax regulations is a plus
• Experience in the role of Chief Accountant at least 3 years
• Fluency in English language, both written and spoken (daily communication), C1 Level
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Reliability and accuracy, deep sense of meeting deadlines
• Ability to organise and prioritise without supervision
• Team Spirit , positive attitude, understanding of customer needs
• Ability to implement accounting reconciliations and controls
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to supervise/manage projects
• Ability to communicate effectively/professionally at all levels
