Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) advances the way people live and work. We bring together curious minds to create breakthrough technology solutions, helping our customers make their mark on the world.

The EMEA Supply Chain organization, as part of HPE, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HPE owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage and networking together into one HPE Converged Infrastructure.

The Fulfillment Ops GEO lead is positioned in-between each of the sales regions (GEOs) in EMEA, the sales operations team, WW planning and the EMEA Fulfillment Ops. The purpose of the team is to stay aligned with the business at all times. What opportunities are the sales teams driving, and are they aware of potential Fulfillment Ops or material availability challenges or opportunities? How do the sales- and sales-operations teams inform customers about availability topics or about the factory cycle time of complex solutions especially where Factory Express & extended factory testing are included. Recognize the implications of customer penalty clauses related to cycle time. How do we as Fulfillment Ops support sales to promote Fulfillment Ops capabilities or steer customers to the available product instead of constraint?

Sounds like you? Then we have the right opportunity—we are looking for a Fulfillment Ops GEO Lead to join us! In this amazing role, you can make your mark by carrying responsibility for all of the above and more and this is what we call the GEO alignment process. We aim to ensure we are not surprised when orders drop, in particular when they contain large quantities or unique material requirements. We communicate Fulfillment Ops status into the GEO and in return, we participate in deal and business reviews to update Fulfillment Ops about the latest business trends. To achieve this, you will need to measure and monitor performance indicators, have regular checkpoint conference calls with the GEO and mentioned functions and attend standing meetings on the financial plan/flash, S&OP or IBP processes, deal reviews and others. As this role is all about partnership with internal customers and understanding of the bussiness, communication skills and Fulfillment Ops management experience are critical to be successful. If you have a track record in a similar role, want to be part of a business that is growing—with great opportunities, and are ready for your next role, then please apply today!

How you’ll make your mark:
• You will have ownership of the overall GEO alignment process
• You will be responsible for FO contribution to the $1m deal process
• You will be aware & understand daily customer escalations & order prioritization issues for your GEO
• You will drive weekly scorecard reporting for your GEO
• You will be part of the weekly sales engagement process
• You will support the executive Fulfillment Ops summary communication
• You will support the revenue assessment process
• You will be the Fulfillment Ops “to go to” person for your GEO
