Job description, responsibilities and duties

The overall target of the position:
  • Work closely with management and employees to ensure the improvement of work relationships, the recruitment of qualified candidates, as well as the increase of the productivity and the retention.
Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Professional and efficient advice and support to management and staff in all HR related matters & processes
  • Responsible for the recruiting process, including preparation of job advertisements, conducting interviews and candidate selection in close cooperation with line managers
  • Independent handling of the personnel administration, including payroll administration, employment contracts, entry/leaving formalities, certificates, agreements, correspondence in Slovakian and English
  • Regular reporting of HR data to parent company
  • Administration of Recruitment Requisitions and regular update of related overview
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g. coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Initiate, apply, analyse, control, improve and implement HR Processes and tools aligned with HZI processes, directives and guidelines
  • Exchange good practices and HR/business experience within the HR Community in HZI
  • Supporting the manpower planning and deployment
  • Negotiate agreed levels of HR services for the business with local representatives in close cooperation with global Senior HR Business Partners
  • Compliance with and implementation of HSE requirements relevant to the role
  • Other tasks reasonably requested within HR

Job Specific Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge in Human Resources including strong experience in recruitment of qualified candidates, preferably in the industrial and/or service sector and in matrix organisations
  • In-depth knowledge of Slovakian labour and social security law, including sound knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Very good knowledge in coaching, training, organisational development /consulting, and cross-cultural communication
  • Strong work ethic and track record of successfully managing change, cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to network in different countries and with functions in order to ensure the coordinated delivery of services
  • Good problem-solving skills, ability to consider complex interdependent aspects of problems
  • Competence and ability to take decisions within the frame defined by company processes
  • Project management experience
