Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Management of renewable gas/biogas projects (from core module to turnkey projects) in terms of quality, deadlines and costs in terms of cost-effectiveness for HZI
- Technical and commercial management of the projects
- Project related management of his execution team; planning of work and resources (resources in coordination with the line manager) / assignment of tasks to team members
- Coordination of the procurement of all purchase lots together with procurement
- Ensuring the timely preparation of engineering data for execution (internal and external), operation manual and CE-compliance
- Coordinates the various delivery lots and aggregates with regard to integration into the overall plant, checking the interfaces in the individual orders. Review / release of specifications for the procurement lots of the project
- Ensure the information flow within the project team and produce solutions to problems.
- Ensure the exchange of experience (feedback from projects) with product responsibles; partly take over product responsibility
- Ensure constructive supplier relationships
- Active claim management together with the relevant specialists
- Management of the project in accordance with the business process, the respective customer and supplier contracts as well as the requirements of the authorities
- Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements

Personality requirements and skills
- Several years of experience in project management of plant construction with a good economic and process knowledge, preferably in the renewable energy industry
- Very good project management skills with the capability to handle multiple tasks within the project; Project Management/IPMA or similar certification of advantage
- Assembly and commissioning experience is an advantage
- Team building ability, preferably in interdisciplinary project teams
- Experience in developing conceptual solutions under consideration of operational aspects
- Successfully closed complex negotiations with internal and external partners
- Ability to convince internal and external stakeholders
- Flexible, adaptable and interactive at all levels
- Hands-on mentality (pursue projects by yourself or in small teams)
- Experience in the use of standardized methods to solve complex problems
- Good knowledge of the engineering tools (CAE tool)
- Good user knowledge of MS-Office
