Sourcing Hub concentrates E2E Sourcing management and Purchasing strategy execution. Performed activities include: market screening, e-sourcing, direct negotiations with suppliers on prices and contracts, decision making on supplier onboarding / delisting & category specific tasks. Sourcing Hub splits into Adhesive Technologies, Beauty & Laundry Care, Indirect materials & Services and Logistics clusters to reflect dedication to the business units.

Your role

  • Close cooperation with Purchasing department for Indirect Materials and services as well as with suppliers working with Henkel
  • Support and administration of the bidding events for Indirect Materials and services
  • Preparation and setting up electronic tenders & auctions within Ariba eSourcing tool
  • Coordination with Suppliers to collect bid relevant documents
  • Regular reporting to regional purchasers & corporate purchasing organization
  • Upload of new contracts
  • Supporting purchasing team in invoice and ordering topics
  • Junior purchasing responsibilities for area IT and Professional Services- in area focused on Software purchases

Your skills

  • University education preferably in a related field to purchasing/management
  • Fluent English is required and German language is very welcomed
  • Previous administration experience gained in an international environment is an advantage
  • Excellent MS Office skills, good knowledge of MS Excel are required
  • Experience with SAP/SAP Ariba is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, influencing and convincing abilities
  • Agile, self-organized person with attention to details and analytical skills
  • Interest to constantly improve processes
