Your role
- You are responsible as Category Team Member “Contract Manufacturing and Traded Goods” to source for our Laundry Home Care Business
- Hold contacts and build relationships to our external manufacturing partners which extend our own production network - on top, you scout for innovations amongst new suppliers
- Manage project milestones and collaborates with suppliers, Supply Chain and Product Development teams to present deliverables in gate reviews to stakeholders
- Participate in cost definition and correct cost evolution during new product development and discuss with all relevant internal stakeholders
- Ensure purchasing deliverables readiness on time related to his/her projects and areas of responsibilities (costs, contracts, savings, lead-times…)
- Define and manage supplier portfolio and manage strategic supplier relationships
- Identify opportunities
Your skills
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of direct/contract manufacturing and traded goods for a global company
- Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration/Supply Chain
- Excellent communication skills with influencing and convincing abilities
- An open mindset that can react creatively on changes in the markets and our company
- Project management knowledge and team player attitude
- Analytical thinking and conceptual skills
- Working proficiency in English is required, other language is an advantage
- Affinity to innovation/digital trends
