Job description, responsibilities and duties
Greenpeace in Central and Eastern Europe is on the search for a Web Developer PHP (remotely, for 20-40 hrs weekly) with the knowledge and experience to customize and develop our existing open-source CRM system called CiviCRM.
Reporting directly to the CiviCRM Development Unit Head based in Vienna, you will form an integral part of our international team that promotes a modern, professional, agile software engineering culture (with stand-ups, sprints, and autonomous teams) dedicated to a green and peaceful future.
Theoretic and practical knowledge of modern methods, concepts and principles of software-engineering
structured commenting-behaviour and code (a precondition)

University education (Master's degree)
Educational Specialization

Language skills
English - Proficiency (C2)
Personality requirements and skills
Experience with and willingness to remote work (the core team sits in Austria).
Project experience as developer.
An independent problem detection and providing structured solutions.
University degree/studies (informatics or similiar) of advantage but not a must (we take geniuses as well!).
Fluency in English.
Knowledge / experience of :
MySQL (MariaDB)
