Job description, responsibilities and duties

As the Office manager you are supporting the Office Director in handling, quality control and development of all administrative, financial and human resource related issues around the Slovak office. You should be a person that have sense of costs-effectiveness and is able to ensure that everything in the office works properly (from meeting deadlines up to printing machine maintenance).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Proactively support the Office Director in all financial, human resources, legal and administrative related tasks for the Slovak office
• Office Management
• Implementation of accounting operations
• Human resources administration
• Responsible and regular controlling of compliance with bylaws of Greenpeace as
organization with activities of Greenpeace CEE in the Slovak Republic
• Responsible for compliance with national legislation for NGOs

We are offering a part-time/full time position based in Bratislava with a flexible working time. Personality requirements and skills

Required competencies and skills:

• Education in administration/finance/HR/controlling and/or relevant job experience
• Fluent Slovak and English both written and spoken
• Advanced user of MS Word and Excel
• Accuracy, reliability and detailed oriented skills needed for the administration part of the work
• Strong team player with good interpersonal and organisational skills to support the day-to-day needs of the office
• Positive attitude towards the Greenpeace way of work and belief that the environment needs to be protected
