Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- IT hardware support (printers, client software installations, install system dependencies)
- Maintain backup systems
- Maintain IT documentation (confluence)
- Maintain and upgrade Linux server operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS), manage virtual machines, applications and other systems
- Recognize and troubleshoot problems with server hardware (data processing and application servers, HW RAID, JBOT, high volume storage infrastructure) and applications (LDAP - FreeIPA, apache, PostgreSQL)
- Monitoring, logging, penetrating tests, automatization in area of network and network security (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, OpenVAS, ansible, Fortinet firewalls, extreme networks switches, HP aruba APs)
- Improving storage and computing solutions
- Stay up to date on IT trends and company priorities
