Job description, responsibilities and duties
Strategy and Leadership
• Develops and implements long-term operational excellence strategy and goals in compliance with the mission of the organization;
• Leads and professionally develops staff directly reporting to Operations Manager;
• Identifies operations improvement opportunities
• Plans, implements and evaluates all new automatization initiatives
• Develops knowledge-management strategy and drives its implementation
• Responsible for smooth cooperation of Operations department with other GLOBSEC’s departments.
Operations & controlling
• Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to optimize them;
• Develops implementation plans and procedures on time and on budget for effective internal processes and operations
• Coordinates and oversees implementation of automation of processes when needed and possible;
• Oversees daily operations and the work of IT coordinators
• Ensures implementation of all personal data protection measures and secure IS environment
• Prepares reports for CEO in all important matters of operations
• Manages relationships with suppliers/partners in respective portfolios, ensures cost effectiveness related to operations
• Oversees the development of standard operational procedures/operational guides across the organisation
• Promotes communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise
• Accountability for overall expenses budget of Operations department;
