Job description, responsibilities and duties

Hi all! We are currently looking for a colleague to fill in a Software Quality Assurance position. Your main task will be to ensure that all methods, activities, processes, and workflows related to the software engineering development are defined in a responsible manner and monitored according to the required standards. These defined standards can be either the internal GlobalLogic Quality Management System, Customer Quality Management System, ISO standards (9001, 13485), or TUV.
You will also be responsible for providing the necessary documentation for the software development life cycle -- from laying down product requirements, through coding, to a final release. The aim is to ensure quality in software development.

Your responsibilities will be:

1. Organizes validation of project-specific software and controls its use for the validated intended use.
2. Organizes (by default conducts) risk analysis (product) and keeps all related records.
3. Tracks the resolution of action items resulting from risk analysis (risk control measures).
4. Participates in establishing product acceptance criteria.
5. Tracks the documentation deliverable list agreed with a client, keep track of the deadline and quality of the documents.
6. Participates in tailoring the Software Development Process to meet collected requirements for the project process.
7. Controls maintenance of training records (maintains training records).
8. Conducts regular spot checks and ensure that records are captured and action items resulting from the spot checks are tracked.
9. Communicates with the client on product quality issues, if this is in accordance with a project communication scheme.
10. Tracks, if delivery project confluence site contains up to date information.

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications:

1. Experience in Risk Analysis and evaluation, knowledge of techniques for conducting Risk Analysis.
2. Experience in software validation process.
3. Demonstrable ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical reports, technical procedures, international standards, and regulations.
4. Fundamental knowledge of different software development methods (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) and
Software testing.
5. Strong analytical skills.
6. Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized.
7. English at the intermediate level.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Visio).

Nice to have:

1. Good team player.
2. Ability to independently determine and develop approaches to a wide range of issues and problems.
3. Experience of working with quality systems, US FDA Quality System Regulation, and relevant international standards.
4. Knowledge of ISO 14971, ANSI/AAMI/IEC 62304, ISO 9001, and ISO 13485 international standards.
5. Experience of working in the medical device industry.
6. Experience of Automotive SPICE
