Project and your role

Globally operating manufacturer of machine tools, peripherals and systems, with more than 160,000 installations around the world is undergoing a massive development of their software applications portfolio and FPT has become a partner on this journey. We are expanding our agile software development teams participating on applications-based control interface for consistent digital workflows in machining & manufacturing. Become a part of FPT family in a role of a Product owner with great level of responsibility for the outcomes of your teams.

 

Your role as a Product owner will include:

• collaboration with the customer on developing roadmaps and functional and technical requirements definitions
• working with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement
• translating product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
• setting the goals and priorities for the development team
• providing a vision to the team and setting the boundaries around functional and technical requirements, product features and project organizations aspects
• creating and maintaining Product Backlog items, prioritizing them and providing the development team with clarifications, explanations and answers during development process
• optimizing the value of the work the development team performs
• continuous reviewing of the business needs, refining priorities, identifying opportunities and risks

• proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
• you are a proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• you have a high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
• Product owner certification is advantage but not mandatory
• you have an excellent communication skill with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
• you are open to multiple opinions on how to solve the problem, team player
• you are a decision maker; not afraid to take accountability for own decisions
• you speak English fluently
