Job Description

Application Consultant will be focusing on application administration and maintenance for internationally recognized customer. Main focus is support throughout the lifecycle of applications from Atlassian product family (JIRA, Confluence, etc.), CI/CD tools (Teamcity), application performance monitoring (App Dynamics), central source code repositories (Subversion, Sonatype Nexus) and other

 

Responsibilities

- You will be a member of a highly specialized Administration Team working for the biggest German Energy Trading company

- You will participate in SW upgrade, patches, maintenances, installations, reconfiguration, migration

- You will provide stable service of applications

- You will work with applications in AWS environment

- You will analyse and improve the current application setup and configuration

- You will be solving user's requests and issues on daily basis

- You will be communicating with vendors, stakeholders and application owners/support on daily basis

- You will be part of global maintenances

 

Required Skills

For fulfilling this position, we need a candidate with strong experiences in preferable most of the following topics:

• Experienced with Windows and Linux Server administration (3+)

• Experience with JAVA based application administration (3+)

• Experienced with SQL databases (2+)

• Experience with web site security certificates

• Experienced with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)

• Experienced in a release and deployment tool like Team City or similar

• Familiar with source code control tools like Subversion, GIT, BitBucket

• Familiar with Amazon cloud services

• Familiar with application performance monitoring tools (AppDynamics or DynaTrace)

• Understanding of networking
