Job description, responsibilities and duties
Description of the role:
• Responsible for strategic sourcing for Business Site (BS)
• Facilitate the work to create a common supplier base and logistic solutions for BS business
• Supplier development to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Facilitate work to enhance quotation and new product implementation process from sourcing perspective
Key tasks and responsibilities:
• Set up a strategic sourcing organization within the BS to realize group leverage on the purchasing spend
• Improve and ensure cooperation of sourcing team within BS in sourcing area
• Be responsible for strategic sourcing for direct and indirect spend as well as for supplier quality personnel within the BS
• Actively participate in the category teams and fully commit to category team decisions
• Be a memeber of and represent the BS in the Group Sourcing Leadership Team
• Coordinate the category team with the local sourcing initatives
• Drive and develop the continuous imrpovement process within FORTACO´s Group Sourcing function
• Assist in implementation, maintenance and improvement of sourcing related areas of the business site quality systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other quality systems required
• Apply and promote Fortaco Code of Conduct internally as well as in supplier relations

• Proven negotiations experience
• Knowledge of customs, transport and warehouse management
• Advanced English both spoken and written
• Computer skills: MS Office, SAP
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
