Job description, responsibilities and duties

We work agile to develop multiple payment products such as Merchant/Terminal onboarding, Internet Payment gateways, Payment terminals software, Digital portals, Business analytics, and Mobile device as a Reporting/Payment solution.

Job overview:
• Object Oriented programming, participation on SDLC process
• Preparing technical documentation and solution design
• Implementation of best practices in software development
• Coordination of own and third parties during development activities
• Defect and incident fixing within a timely fashion, cooperation with admins from production support
• Commitment on predefined release dates and development delivery dates
• Stay active and current with the technology trends, direction and innovations related to used technologies and services.
• Contribute to overall team performance, including support and assistance of other team members where necessary
• Administration of DEV environments and simulators

Hand on experience with:
• C/C++
• Code versioning (e.g. GIT, SVN)
• Unit Testing
• Other ( cryptography, Unix )
• Excellent problem solving skills and analytical thinking
• Proactive work performance
• Ability to work as a good team player
• Intermediate level in technical English required. All documentation and majority of communication is in English due to international projects and international offices involved (UK, Germany, UAE, India etc.)
• Willingness to learn technologies and solutions from the field of electronic transactions, payment cards, POS/ATM devices, tokenization and cryptography

Nice to have:
• Experience with any payment authorization system or transaction processing
• Experience with cryptography and HSMs
• Experience with POS terminals, ATMs or e-commerce payment gateways
• Any knowledge from the payment domain and its business logic or technical aspects
• Experience with automated testing tools

Our team:
Our team in Bratislava consists of various highly skilled professionals including developers, senior developers, and application analysts being part of wider team across region. We work with a global reach, supporting our clients across EMEA. As part of the team, you will have an opportunity to write code for our front-end authorization platform. You will work closely with the technical architect, who drives the technical direction and other developers on designing the technical solution. You will also collaborate with business analysts and enterprise architects to identify the business needs and with testers on constantly improving the quality of the software, we build.
