Sr Test Engineer QE&A GBS EMEA Organization

We are looking for Senior Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team which is responsible for quality assurance and testing services of the First Data International Payment Platform (IPP) within QE&A GBS EMEA organization.

The candidate should have strong subject matter expertise in payment domains providing consultancy and professional services for entire GBS EMEA organization with a main focus on delivering quality engineering services.

The role assumes involvement in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribution in the improvement of the quality of the IP Platform by bringing extensive testing expertise, niche skills, best practices, processes, methodologies and testing tools.

Following is a list of responsibilities for Sr. Test Engineer:
- Works independently with tower leads and technical groups across the GBS EMEA organization utilizing business, functional and technical expertise to effectively develop and execute the test strategy and planning activities
- Works as subject matter expert / consultant for the testing domain in products / projects / programmes as well as for release / BAU work items. Understands and communicates the scope of testing required to meet the needs of the programme or desired business capabilities. Reviews and approves test plans.
- Assists with managing scope changes and resolving issues through the entire Software Development Life Cycle
- Drives continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to, test planning, test execution, debugging, metric collection, and reporting
- Builds a knowledge base or proficiency framework on the test teams and applications and acquire subject matter expertise on the overall line of business pertaining to the QE&A GBS EMEA team
- Provides technical leadership, mentoring and coaching to less experienced individuals. Oversees training of team members
- Provides guidance to team members on the scripting and execution activities to accomplish the test plan and system requirements
- Researches and recommends new tools and testing approaches, and executes upon / monitoring the implementation of such items
- Performs other job duties as required

Overall experience:
o 5+ years of professional experience in Software Testing & Quality Assurance
o 3+ years of professional experience in financial payment industry
- Experience in Card and Payment Processing
- Experience in Acquiring domain
o Understanding of the complete Merchant Life Cycle
o Understanding of the merchant and terminal boarding processing
o Understanding of the authorization processing
o Understanding of the clearing and settlement processing
o Understanding of the merchant reporting
- Knowledge of POS processing using Nexo standards
- Knowledge of Financial Payment protocols and interfaces
- Experience in the estimation process
- Experience in supporting entire Software Testing Life Cycle (initiation, design, build, test)
- Experience in test automation
- Experience in Behavior Driven Development and 3 amigo concept
- Experience in Data-Driven Approach using Test Data Management tools
- Experience in ETL / DB automation testing
- Experience in Service Virtualization / Mocking / Stubbing
