As a Technical Project Manager, you will work in an agile setting with world-class product and engineering teams to bring incredible experiences to market. You’ll identify issues and fix them; making sure everyone is moving forward, communicating well, and releasing on schedule.


About your team:
You will be responsible for Technical Projects in Exponea’s Value Stream, which focuses on delivering outstanding results and experiences to Exponea’s clients with single aim – to maximize value that Exponea brings to the clients and their customers.

You will be closely cooperating horizontally with Value Stream leaders from different departments (product, client services, marketing, sales) on specification and adoption as well as vertically with other Stream leaders for IT and border IT management.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- full responsibility for project delivery (responsibility for delivering expected results with high quality, on time)
- responsibility for overall project planning & controlling, focusing on milestones and critical path
- overseeing product and technical research and specification, collecting inputs for prioritization
- nurturing close relationships within the Technology Development unit and with other non- technical units (to ensure better communication between departments)
- planning resources and capacities of project work packages on a deliverable level
- dealing with possible project discontinuities (risk and change management)
- hand over of project work to marketing and other business functions
- act as a trusted advisor for managers and other colleagues in concerned business areas

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Advanced (C1) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

What we expect of the candidate:

Must have:
– minimum 3-5 experience with technical project management,
– Extensive leadership experience and strong teamwork abilities
– Excellent problem-solving & communication skills

Nice to have:
– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
