As a member of global product management team at ESET headquarters, you will have a chance to learn and actively contribute to the future of ESET security products and services for business customers around the world. You will learn from experienced product managers and cooperate with other leading experts in their respective fields from development, interaction design and marketing communication teams.
Within your role, you will constantly think how to solve market or technical problems in the assigned functionality or product during all stages of product life cycle. You will be participating on quantitative and qualitative market and customer research - by reaching out to technical people in charge of security within the organization - to gather and understand their specific problems and needs. Then, your focus will be put into transferring gathered market expertise into quantified data and trends based on which you will define structured business and product requirements with one goal that you should keep in mind all the time - to assure success and competitiveness of the product on the security market.
You will be primarily responsible for creating, maintaining and prioritization of product backlog of business and technical requirements for development teams. Additionally, your responsibility will be to present core values and benefits of the features under your responsibility to internal and external stakeholders from various departments. You will perform regular evaluation of product success on the market and you will define specific product goals, KPIs and feature improvements.
During the first phase of your employment at ESET, you will learn about products defined by the supervisor and also about product management processes and best practices. Then, you will participate in product management activities and tasks related to less critical projects under the supervision of more experienced colleagues. After evaluation period, you will have enough knowledge to be able to define structured and formalized business and product requirements based on the guidelines and instructions of a direct superior or a mentor. Along the way, you will actively participate in the preparation of various product-related materials or documents related to product management processes and activities. As a junior product manager, you will develop your knowledge and skills to achieve the required level of proficiency within a defined time period.
