Server-side Software Developer

We are seeking for a Developer to join our team which takes care of update servers, that distribute most recent virus data and modules to millions of our customers. It includes full range of software design, development, maintenance and support.

Job Description

We develop a lot of the code not only for the servers, but for various other related systems and search for a ways to provide the content fast, minimalistic and hassle-free. There are multiple more or less related projects, like automated update testing, streamed data processing. We also take part in incoming malware samples processing and develop a ticketing system for Viruslab; so we collaborate with Viruslab and CoreDev quite a lot.

If you join us, you will gradually touch everything related. From specifications, designing, programming, aswell linux/windows administration and occasionally, solving issues reported by users. The work is quite creative and there's plenty you can put your hands onto: Frontends of local applications, backend scripts, webserver modules, and all the shell glue that holds it together. And we have few loosely related smaller projects in case you feel better there

Resposibilities

• designing, developing and maintenance of software ranged from small scripts to medium sized components of bigger system
• taking care of smooth application running with aid of custom monitoring scripts and in collaboration with IT and linux teams
• log and data analysis, automated statistics, proposing and implementing improvements
• occasional solving of issues reported by customers, searching for possible sources of problems and taking part on infrastructure expansion and loadbalancing implementation
• it may be possible to work on other projects based or necessity/preference, such as work on big data projects etc
