Compensation and Benefits Specialist
Compensation and Benefits Specialist will plan, develop and implement new and revised compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures in order to be responsive to the company’s goals and competitive practices. Compensation and Benefits Specialist supports strategic and operational compensation programs pertaining to assigned organizational areas through the performance of job evaluation and classification of new and existing jobs; participates in the implementation of career paths; functions as a subject matter expert on interpretation of compensation and benefits policy and guidelines for HR Business Partners, Generalist as well as for managers; prepares analysis for compensation and benefits programs and initiatives. This professional will exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical principles.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and participating in annual and ad-hoc compensation and benefits surveys.
- Responsibility for preparation of analyses, market research and job matching, job evaluation and propose pay equity activities.
- Evaluating proposed and existing jobs and classifying them in accordance with the levels of importance and responsibility.
- Managing job documentation, job descriptions, databases and tables related to job codes and job families.
- Conduct and deliver high-level compensation analysis, data modeling and propose incentive pay programs to internal clients.
- Preparing supporting data for the review of annual salary budget.
- Reviewing of salary increases for accuracy and preparing performance bonus calculations before submission for approval and processing.
- Preparing analysis related to relocation programs within ESET Group and proposing relocation compensation packages.
- Reviewing changes in legislation that may affect employee compensation and benefits.
- Proposing and implementing new processes within the Compensation and Benefits area, creating operating procedures and directives related to C&B area of responsibility.
- Analyzing, designing and implementing benefits programs within ESET Group.
- Preparing, revising and delivering employee communications related to benefits to maximize engagement.
- Responsibility for benefits execution and administration as well as maintenance of required records.
- Identifying problem areas and suggesting improvements in terms of benefits cost optimizations as well as employee satisfaction.
