Employee Events Specialist

We're looking for an Events Specialist to join our HR team (maternity leave replacement). The successful candidate will handle administrative as well as creative duties for employee events in ESET. In addition to interfacing with events providers and employees, responsibilities include developing and recommending events programs/ preparation of policies/procedures or presentations to management and executing employee events. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.

Job description:

• Serving as a key contact for questions regarding employee events.
• Manage employee events calendar, gather and update content.
• Designing, planning and executing all aspects of employee events including but not limited to logistics, attendee travel, material production, invitation, creation and distribution and follow up with employees.
• Performing research to ascertain the best events vendors to suit a company's structure, size, need and budget.
• Obtaining proposals, preparing comparative analysis and processing contracts of events suppliers.
• Participating in negotiations and meetings related to employee events.
• Prepare and coordinate venue; location assessment in cooperation with procurement.
• Preparing, branding/revising and delivering employee communications related to employee events to maximize engagement.
• Liaising with internal clients regarding their needs and expectations for a successful event.
• Working closely with other departments to successfully implement all aspects of the event.
• Create and manage satisfaction surveys, analyze and report results.
• Managing events administration and maintenance of required records.
• Assisting in budget planning, estimates, tracking and reporting.
