Job description, responsibilities and duties
Ensures that the supply chain companies continually develop their process in line with the design intent of the customer and verify their systems to ensure they are compliant with the end customer’s needs. This includes on-going supply chain company verification. At least 5 years SQA experience with in interiors, doors, cockpits and consoles.
- Sampling and validation of supplier process
- Responsible for the APQP process
- Lead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks
- Be in contact with suppliers related to IMDS, FMEA, Control plan
- Set up the EMPB on customers in the B2B VW Portal
- Communication with suppliers as well as with customers.
- Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain
- Communication with customer
- Reviewing suppliers specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
