Information about the position

What will you be in charge of?

Our team is looking for an experienced and well-organized data analyst to provide necessary support to the Marketing and Sales Team. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for online sales managers, by coordinating sales and marketing activities.

In this role, you will analyze product sales trends, margins, seasonal trends, and competitor data, to provide insights on ways the business can drive incremental sales and/or profitability. You will troubleshoot performance challenges and provide analysis on performance trends. You will provide tools to the team to better project performance and highlight areas of opportunity.
  • Become an expert within our markets. This includes understanding the potential
customers, being aware of any new or existing competition, demonstrating an expert
knowledge of the markets traffic and sources
  • Apply proactive, strategic thinking to develop and manage complex analysis in order to
identify national and sub-national drivers behind sales performance including sales
trends, product, and customer segment.
  • Present findings, insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Develop and implement key performance metrics that help identify business
opportunities and measure sales performance
  • Provide trend analyses, forecasts and market snapshots for the team
  • Communicate areas of success and opportunity across products, channels, regions, etc.
  • Create and generate key ongoing reports such as a weekly business performance metrics
that includes relevant and insightful analysis and commentary
  • Review monthly reports and analysis on actual activity and revenue as compared to the
operating plan and forecasts with Sales and Channel Marketing
  • Monitor, analyze, and report performance of our eCommerce environment using site
analytics such as Google Analytics focusing on purchase behavior, traffic drivers, site
experience, site functionality, impact of analysis-driven changes, growth opportunities,
revenue effects of site enhancements and split tests, product receptivity, marketing
campaigns and seasonal business trends.
  • Collect, analyze, and report user feedback from a variety of sources including: surveys,
usability/split tests, focus groups, clickstream data, etc.

Information about the selection process

- Proven working experience as a data analyst
  • Experience in using data visualization tools (e.g.: Power BI)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to
develop and maintain business relationships with various
team members across the organization.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and Power BI
  • Expert with Google Analytics
  • Ability to understand raw data/metrics, draw succinct
conclusions, and illustrate these conclusions in easy-to-
read report formats for peers and executives
