Deployment Engineer - Automation

Profile

• Experience in automation deployment in an enterprise environment using automation tools including but not limited to RPA, scripting, systems management solutions, test automation software.
• Good understanding of operating system platforms, cloud technology, enterprise workflow toolsets, networking systems, middleware technologies and IT Security.
• Candidates with experience working with a global enterprise either in infrastructure & apps support, application development, SAP or testing teams.
• Hands on experience/familiarity working in an Agile/Scrum Software Development model.
• Self-motivated and independent with strong skills in ITIL/ITSM.
• Fast learner with a technical background.
• Good communication skills - verbal and written.
• High degree of professional and business ethics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deployment and enablement of automation solutions encompassing a wide variety of cross-capability assets across infrastructure support, applications development & support, service desk, field services, business process services etc.
• Conduct multiple Bionix automation adoption drives, as part of a global resource pool of deployment SMEs grouped into specialized adoption squads, delivering productivity and efficiency improvements for the DXC customer accounts worldwide.
• Ensure timely completion of deliverables by working closely with key stakeholders like product management & engineering, content factory, product readiness, delivery SMEs, account stakeholders etc.
• Attain comprehensive technical understanding on the automation assets in your focus area.
• Ensure cadence and provide timely feedback to stakeholders by communicating progress and updates.
• Engage regional delivery, account and customer stakeholders to demonstrate automation solution capabilities for accelerated deployment.
• Enable automation tool enrollments for account teams to establish baselines and focus areas for deployment.
• Derive/analyze account requirements to define automation pre-requisites, assess feasibility and provide consultation for delivery SMEs.
• Educate delivery, account and leadership teams on the automation portfolio of assets to clearly communicate the benefits of Bionix deployment.
• Work with the squad leads to define outcome metrics to be tracked and create reports and dashboards as required.
• Cross-skill and gain experience in a wide portfolio of automation assets under Bionix automation.
• Facilitate trainings on automation tools with a decentralized development model for target stakeholders.
• Consistently apply quality standards by following processes and guidelines through to project closure.
