Medical lead (Medical Advisor)

The purpose of this new-established position is to provide scientific support for Thrombosis portfolio within Central Cluster including Slovak Republic and other established products within the business unit.
Medical lead will report to the Medical Head of Central Cluster in Poland. This position will occupy a key scientific partnership role for the business, serving as an internal consultant and expert to commercial colleagues as well as other support functions, if needed
Essential to success is an outstanding partnership with Business Teams within Central Cluster and Global Medical Affairs to maximize the medical value proposition.
Externally, the role assists Key Opinion Leaders in Slovak Republic to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes through evidence based decisions. The position is crucial to execute the Slovak KOLs engagement plan.
The position is without direct subordinates.

Essential job duties and responsibilities:
* Develop and execute efficient medical /scientific strategy, including scientific evidence generation and scientific information exchange with all key stakeholders.
* Develops the medical plan and execution of a comprehensive medical marketing strategy for Thrombosis. Provide relevant data evidence to ensure that the strategy is clearly defined and consistent with global medical affairs and business strategy objectives. Proactively provide guidance to marketing and sales teams.
* Interacts with medical experts at medical meetings, advisory boards and outreach meetings to represent the company and strengthen its reputation
* Review and approve medical and scientific content of Regulatory, Medical affairs and Commercial materials/activities , ensuring consistency with voluntary and compulsory codes of conduct, appropriate legislation and compliance with internal SOPs
* Provide medical support including medical advice and product training to Sales & Marketing team
* Liaison with and develop key stakeholders and opinion leaders for established products, implementing the customers engagement plans
