about the position
Purpose of the job: Developing automatized and BI solutions (in Power BI or MicroStrategy) for Record to Report processes and complex activities for companies within Deutsche Telekom Group.
Job content:
• Building reports and dashboards within BI frontend tool Power BI or MicroStrategy
• Maintain user authorisations
• Perform preventive maintenance on the systems.
• Backend and frontend activities in order to create dashboards in Power BI or MicroStrategy BI
• Support service in retrieving data from systems.
• Set and regularly review process documentation, document management.
• Provide informative newsletters about new platform features, functionality, systems downtimes.
• Provide training sessions for end users or dedicated groups.
• Support for other developers in delivery of automated solutions.
The salary for this position is from 1000 EUR gross.
The published salary is the minimum possible offer. The starting salary may be higher depending on the extent of fulfillment of the employee's requirements (education, language skills, required practice, personality assumptions and skills).

Education:
• University education in Information Technology / Economics (ideally with focus on subject matter)
• 1+ years of relevant experience
Language knowledge:
English – fluent
German – advantage
PC skills:
• Excellent working knowledge of IT system environments
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems
• Database operations (e.g.MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle incl. connections to DB, backup and restore procedures, SQL client ) ,
• HW infrastructure interfaces, system analysis
Other skills:
• Active experience and delivery of excel macros, Visual Basic scripts or other configuration/scripting type technology;
• Understanding of workflow based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution;
• Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience;
• Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation;
• Process oriented, easy to understand the flow in the ERP process, capture inputs and outputs, exceptions;
• Structured and independent work approach
• High attitude towards quality and accurateness
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Reliability and flexibility
• Willingness to work in an international environment
