In-house Lawyer – Junior

We are looking for a junior lawyer for our internal legal team. A suitable candidate for this position should have strong ownership of tasks, be motivated by new challenges and be a good team player capable of working in a dynamic and international environment. Job description:
• maintaining the company’s legal agenda – mainly in the area of corporate, contractual, labor and civil law & regulatory matters,
• legal assistance and support to other in-house departments: office management, marketing, human resources, financial department, etc.,
• legal research, preparation of legal analysis and advice,
• regular monitoring of new legislation and its subsequent implementation within the company,
• preparation of internal corporate documentation, organization of general meetings, execution of corporate changes, etc.,
• contact with state authorities and regulatory bodies,
• drafting and reviewing standard company documents, including contract templates and internal policies,
• contract negotiation,
• local implementation of global policies and their adjustment to the domestic environment,
• support to the Internal Legal Team and co-operation with the regional Legal Team.

Requirements:
• university degree - Slovak Faculty of Law,
• relevant experience in an internal legal department of an international firm would be an advantage,
• previous experience with labour law and data privacy issues is an advantage,
• excellent knowledge of Slovak and English (including professional terminology),
• good PC skills.
