IT Infrastructure Senior Advisor

We’re a team of experts optimizing the performance and integrity of IT infrastructure and ensuring consistency and synchronization across all infrastructure components. Alongside supporting new and existing applications, we work with other IT groups and business units to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

What you’ll achieve

Our team is responsible for developing solutions around cloud management, security, reliability and visibility into cloud systems. ​ We ensure the products are best in class which includes being accountable for performance, availability management and capacity planning.

You will:

• Work with software engineering teams to build high performance and reliable cloud systems

• Tackle a variety of business, infrastructure, security and application issues in a complex ecosystem

• Provide support and guidance to internal SaaS teams on how to build and operate complex services    

• Maintain a strong culture of innovation, creativity, and fun

• Support engineering best practices, including Agile development methodologies, service architectures, and design patterns

Essential Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience that must include: coding experience with one of the following Python, Java, Go and/or NodeJS

• Experience administering Linux systems in a production environment

• Experience building/running large-scale systems and application architectures

• Deep understanding of system performance and monitoring

• Understanding of containers and container orchestration

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with modern container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Mesos, DC/OS, Swarm); experience with infrastructure configuration and automations processes and tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Fabric); experience with monitoring solutions (ELK, Splunk, Nagios, Prometheus, VROPS, Zabbix) is advantageous

Salary starting from: 2 600 EUR gross monthly
