What you’ll achieve

As a Privacy Operations Advisor, you will be primarily responsible for several key operations within the Global Privacy Team.  You will be responsible for end to end oversight of the [email protected] mailbox, triaging what is received to ensure prompt response.  You will work on preparing data subject rights responses in order to comply with applicable privacy laws and Dell’s Privacy Policy, Standards, Controls and Procedures.  Reporting to Dell’s Global Privacy Program Director, you will assist in development, implementation and enforcement of privacy policies and procedures for the Dell Global Privacy Program.  You will also provide support to others within the Global Privacy Team as needed.

You will:

  • Manage and develop Dell’s privacy mailbox, working to document processes and training others to serve as backups
  • Triage initial privacy complaints and incidents as reported, initiating the first step investigations to create the record in the Archer privacy case management tool to  ensure appropriate assignment to team members in Dell’s Privacy Office.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and enforcement of privacy policies and procedures, including cross-business unit policies to support the Global Privacy Team.
  • Prepare data subject rights responses, including development of templates, integration of lessons learned back into program, and research on best practices.
  • Work with the Privacy Platforms Administrator to further develop technology to respond to data subject rights requests efficiently.
  • Assist in preparation of reports and dashboards.
  • Take on additional projects as directed by the Global Privacy Program Director.

Essential Requirements

  • 3-5+ years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience​
  • Experience in working in a global privacy compliance program
  • Strong ability to track tasks, prioritize and meet competing deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and drive results by influencing others to achieve win/win outcomes

Desired Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of global privacy compliance program management or project management experience is preferred
  • Experience using privacy technology tools, such as Archer
  • General knowledge of privacy regulatory issues/risks/regulatory data processing records requirements is a plus
  • IAPP CIPM certification is a plus
  • A passion for and true interest in privacy

Salary starting from: 2 000€ gross/monthly
