Senior ABAP Developer

During your initial training, you will be introduced to our business and product portfolio, after which you will be responsible for development of software tools in the BW and BO area and specifically for product covering operation monitoring, analytics (DATAVARD Insights) which support our consulting services and software products delivered to our customers.

You are not just 'any' coder but you are THE DEVELOPER and your daily tasks will include:

• End-to-end participation & cooperation with all stakeholders on software delivery life cycle -including analysis, design and creation of data models
• Creative thinking aimed at maximizing usability of the product(s)
• Creation of work packages for other team members & effort estimates
• Support on customer implementation projects & customer support
• Active participation in knowledge sharing within your team as well as across teams

Your tasks will vary based on your skills, experience and competencies.

You are a professional Software Developer who is passionate about back-end development. You not only deliver solutions according specifications but you participate on their creation, too. You are keen to work with SAP as well as new technologies such as Hadoop, HIVE, in-memory databases. You will develop products and solutions in the area of Big Data management, business transformations, test automation, data analytics, along with Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and anomaly detection.

• You have positive mindset, you enjoy working in a team and you do not follow trends, you set new trends
• You have 3+ years of experience in a development position
• You have good knowledge of DB systems, SQL language, object-oriented programming and UML
• You have good knowledge of ABAP programming language and OData 
• You have good English skills (speaking and writing)
