Accountant Management Accounting

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Accountant for Management Accounting you will be ensuring timely, accurate and compliant service delivery for all Management Accounting transactions in accordance with performance and quality standards defined in relevant service level agreements.

Major tasks and responsibilities on this role include:

• Day to day Management Accounting operations for the following process areas:

o Define & manage SAP CO master data, structures and value flow catalogue changes
o Perform & check cost allocations
o Define & manage Profit Center Accounting
o Perform Product Costing standard costs
o Perform Product Costing actual costs and Inventory valuation
o Global Governance, Guidance and Coordination for Management Accounting
o Preparation of ad-hoc analysis

• Ensure the understanding and compliant service delivery across Covestro AG of agreed policies and procedures.
• Understand service level agreements and key performance indicators for Management Accounting related processes.
• Contribute to the continuous maintenance and the update of Management Accounting process activities and procedures.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Business Studies degree, preferable in finance/accounting
• Professional education in financial accounting
• Several years working experience in finance and/or accounting dept. or other similar positions and basic knowledge on system settings and internal controls
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Familiar with MS office and related Software
• Experience with ERP Accounting Software / SAP of advantage
• Fluent English in writing and speaking
