Lead Accountant OTC

What you will do
• Leading Financial team
• Organize workload of team and set priorities
• Support timely and accurate reporting of financial results
• Motivate and develop team members
• Ensure ethical and accounting principle compliance

How you will do it
• Ensure proper posting of incoming cash
• Ensure smooth daily operations by proper allocation of transactional volume to the team/ avoid workload allocation issues or improper allocation leading to inefficiencies of some and overload of other employees
• Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”)
• Support compliance with local and US GAAP accounting rules, where applicable
• Support resolution of accounting issues by outlining available options
• Timely react on any requests from internal / external customers(i.e. PWC)
• Development of people, regular team meetings at least bimonthly and 1 to 1 reviews preferable monthly
• Ensures team follows up all Clarios policies and procedures related to OTC and HR processes
• Proactively look for improvements in team organization and processes and its implementation

What we look for
• Experience with leading people MUST!
•Business education degree or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance department
• Strong process knowledge in relevant area
• Strong accounting / reporting overview
• FIA Diploma, Dipl. IFRS, ACCA/CIMA in progress or equivalent knowledge required
• MS-Office (MS Excel – advanced – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook, MS Powerpoint), ERP experience (e.g. SAP, iScala, Oracle),
• B2/C1 level of English

• Yellow Belt Certified and PMGB certified - advantage
