We are Clarios Slovakia and we power our state-of-art energy storage solutions. We are looking for an Accountant Clerk with an experience to join our Procure to Pay team.

What are your daily tasks?
As an Accountant Clerk, you act as a Business Partner on any request from external and internal parties, while having exposure to other team’s processes as a possible backup.

We are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of the accounting principles and a comprehension of the corporate high-level structure.

Attention to details might be put in use for this role, as you are validating the accuracy of the documentation attached. You are providing support for internal and external auditors if needed.
Part of your job is posting invoices, preparing ad-hoc reports and status updates, researching and resolving payment discrepancies, and following up on issues related to the Accounts Payable area.

In this role, you are processing suppliers invoices and will take a part in the month-end closing activities. You can definitely utilize your precision and analytical skills.

What are we looking for?
• We expect you to have a degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/Accounting.
• Understanding of SOX controls is needed as you are a part of the control environment.
• MS-Office (Advanced MS Excel – tables, charts, formulas, pivot tables, MS Outlook)
• SAP experience is needed as it is one of your working tools.
• C1 English level is a must as you are communicating with internal and external business partners on a daily basis

We are looking for a customer-and result-oriented person, who is not afraid to inquire and drive the resolution of the issues.

The starting salary is at min 1 100 EUR/month gross for candidates who meet our minimum criteria.

This role requires to work 25% US Time /5days/
• Working patterns for US shift are 13:30 – 22:00 (Mon – Friday)
There are extra benefits for employees covering US time:
• 30% hourly bonus for every complete shift worked US time
• One additional meal voucher per day during US time shift
