Job description, responsibilities and duties

To satisfy growing client demand, we are now looking for a consultant to support Space Security related projects with a background related to GNSS (GPS, Galileo), EGNOS, Earth Observation. This position is suitable for professional experience within the area of GNSS, GPS, Earth Observation, and Security related to the mentioned areas

Being a consultant is a versatile role for someone who is keen to learn new things, share new ideas, and take responsibility. There are many various tasks that span across the whole solution life-cycle, starting from business development up to the solution design and its delivery. Consultants have their eyes and mind open to seeking new opportunities. They listen to the client's business requirements and translate them into solution design. On top of that, consultants are subject matter experts for their area of business.
A consultant is also involved in support of business development, project management, and delivery to get a taste of every aspect of a complex project. This way, there is a great chance to set the most suitable direction for a future career path.
This role consists of working for one of the most important European Agencies focusing on GNSS directly at client premises on daily basis. So, this opportunity provides a great chance for all candidates to be part of the development of Galileo and EGNOS systems.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Czech - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Knowledge of at least one of the following: Galileo (GPS), EGNOS, Earth Observation or knowledge in the area of Security (to have both is a great advantage)
• Personal Security Clearance
• Analytical skills and ability to deliver results in an organized way
• Presentation and writing skills
• Interest in geo-informatics and innovation in general
• Willingness to learn new things and gain experience
• Excellent level of English and Czech/Slovak

The following knowledge is an advantage:
• Data and/or process analysis
• Spatial data processing and analysis
• Programming basics (Java or Python)
• Technical solution design
• Integration
