- Maintaining and improving the technology and application operational performance, utilization and issue resolution
- Technology and application strategy development / strategy execution/ project and program delivery/ requirements gathering/ demand and change management / continuous improvement and innovation.
- He/she ensures that the Technology needs and expectations are being agreed, communicated, managed, met & exceeded, and measured. It is his/her responsibility to be proactive and understand business needs and to ensure CBRE’s Integrated Technology solutions are meeting the evolving business requirements.
- Ensure the Technology landscape meets all the required information security and compliance requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership
- Member of the Senior Leadership Team within the account
- Build, maintain and grow trustful and collaborative business IT relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure Technology solutions meet changing business requirements or new opportunities driving operational efficiency based on a clear business case
- Serving as a primary catalyst between CBRE’s Regional and Functional Technology-Communities (incl. DevOps, CyberDefense, Product Owners)
- Promotes IT best practices and ensures Corporate and GWS IT standards and policies are respected and followed.
Program management
- Governance of the overall Technology plan for the account - program managing IT related activities across the globe and within different regions
- Co-ordinate cross-functional and cross-regional teams in the definition and execution of improvement projects based on a business case and Costs / Benefits justification.
IT services delivery
- Manage internal and external technology service delivery teams in order to meet pre-agreed deliverables/ projects and service Levels
- Recommend Service Level changes if required
- Manage IT budget with account and financial chargeback to each individual by partnering related to IT Finance
- Translates business requirements into the appropriate IT requests / initiatives
- Manage (in-direct) dedicated technology resources (people & IT-systems) within the account
Communication
- Provide timely and effective stakeholders management and Issue regular status report to Senior Leadership Team on the account
- Build and maintain relationships with Regional and functional IT groups
- Attend and support Technology Relationship meetings (ensure knowledge transfer, best practices and program mgt.)
- Reports timely and effective on main requirements, projects, risks and finance on the-account to the Regional and Global Digital & Technology Leadership.
- Consistently communicate and manage expectations to achieve greater customer satisfaction with Technology performance.
- Act as single point of escalation with the user community insuring the business is kept informed of progress & help resolve issue
- Responsible for setting-up and maintaining a communication-structure allowing efficient and effective interaction between CBRE’s and client IT-organization within the boundaries of determined roles, responsibilities on local, country, regional, global level.
- Communicate technology and application features, changes, best practices in order to drive full adoption and realization of benefits
Financials Management
- Contribute to the preparation of Technology budgets (globally and per region) related to the account
- Support the governance of integrated IT-Budget for the account
- Governance of all (internal/external) Financial Chargeback to the account for all additional and agreed initiatives
- Ensure appropriate funding has been approved for any IT related initiatives within the account
Knowledge Management
- Ensure effective use of recommended IT process and procedures
- Ensure effective use of program and portfolio management principles
- Ensure IT related documentation referring to the Account is managed
Business Development
- Ensures all IT-related initiatives meets agreed account-strategy and business requirements
- Support new business opportunities from a technology perspective
