Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are currently in search of a Numerical Simulation Engineer for our development team in Košice. The successful candidate will be part of Verification & Simulation department. Ansys, SimCenter and Hyperworks tools are available and used on the daily basis. Activities are focused on the development of electric drives, electronic boards and partly development of Bosch home appliances.
- Retrieve and prepare CAD parts for CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) modeling
- Develop, create and validate simulation models
- Simulate behavior of components as well as modules and products at various load cases
- Validate the simulation models based on measurement data
- Conduct follow-up and counter-measure simulations to improve parts performance
- Develop best practice for usage of CAE tools
- Develop optimization strategies suitable for target performance
- Undertake root-cause analysis of topic related issues to identify risks and devise appropriate changes, develop alternative designs or quick engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, project leaders and other cross-functional partners to present and discuss solutions, provide engineering guidance
- Provide recommendations to resolve product issues to meet the product requirements

Candidates with education and experience suit the position
- University education (Master's degree or higher)
- 5+ years experience using commercial FEM / BEM numerical modeling tools such as ANSYS, SimCenter, HyperWorks, Abaqus…
- Knowledge of engineering and physics-based principles for model based engineering
- Understanding of the mechanical properties for a broad spectrum of materials
- Experience with 3D modeling software (NX, SolidWorks, Creo) is advantage
- Ability to work independently with a strong focus on delivering results and identifying alternative solutions when challenges arise
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Ability to work in team
- Ready for travelling and short-time staying abroad
- Knowledge of German language is an advantage
