Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Act as a first point of contact
• Management of school helpdesk system, ensuring a prompt and efficient response
• Maintenance of hardware and software inventory – asset management
• Troubleshooting and providing support for hardware and software issues on various ICT devices (laptops, desktops, printers, projectors, phones, tablets...)
• Installation of new ICT equipment and maintenance/updates of existing
• Creation of user guides and manuals as required
• Occasional support with video, sound and light equipment during school events

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

• Experience on similar positions is essential
• Logical and technical thinking
• Experience on supporting MS Windows 10 and MS Office package is essential
• Basic understanding of networking
• Basic overview of mobile devices (iOS and Android)
• Experience with cloud platforms like Office 365 is advantage
• Willingness to support both children and adults
• Driver's license B
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
• Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
