Job description, responsibilities and duties
Join one of the top startups in Slovakia!
You will program our backend services and integrate to 3rd parties. We have frontend developed in Angular and backend is made of Java and Python services. Java is the preferred platform. We are cloud-based (Digital Ocean). Our target architecture includes Zookeeper, NGINX, Kafka and many more top technologies and whatever you are able (or wish) to do is welcome. It’s just up to you and your abilities.
We combine flexibility of startups along with formality of established corporates so we do think about and document things before we start to code. That’s why you should be also able to:
• Plan your week (together with Head of Development)
• Estimate your efforts for a task
• Report progress and/or problems
• Create unit tests
• Document what you have done
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
• Java Spring (Boot), Hibernate
• 2+ years of professional experience with programming in Java
• Responsibility
• Pragmatic approach
• Willingness to do an extra mile if necessary
• Quick-learner
• English
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
• REST services (in Java)
