Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • You define the vision for CRM in Bekaert in close collaboration with the commercial leaders of the different business units:
    • You define how CRM will support the commercial teams in increasing effectiveness and efficiency (eg. managing sales pipeline, contacts…) and encourage customer retention and loyalty.
    • You define how to extract market intelligence through CRM and how to feed it back for better decision making/commercial tactics and strategies in the businesses. 
    • You define the CRM functional platform structure and functional architecture ensuring it works seamlessly across the organization and captures all required information at key touch points in the customer lifecycle.
  • You analyze customer touch points with the different divisions in order to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • You translate the vision in a concrete roadmap with clear priorities, timelines and budgets. You proactively drive the implementation of the roadmap with Bekaert IT and business stakeholders.
    • You communicate about status and progress to involved stakeholders.
    • You work closely with all divisions to ensure CRM works effectively for a diverse portfolio of business requirements.
  • You set priorities and make decisions on (not) adding projects and requests to the roadmap, in line with the strategy for CRM.
  • You organize the communication about CRM in the organization, including training of key users, defining KPI’s and process for managing adoption rates of end users.

Personality requirements and skills

  • You have strong analytical skills and a good understanding of commercial processes, being able to work closely with IT to translate the capabilities of the tool to the business and the needs of the business to effective solutions.
  • You have influencing and change management skills. You proactively seek alignment with stakeholders to be able to drive CRM adoption forward. You feel comfortable with taking decisions and communicating to a multitude of stakeholders.
  • You have at least 3 years’ experience with agile project management practices.
  • You are fluent in oral and written English.
