Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our plant in Bekaert Hlohovec we are looking for a person who has been selling hoses or supplying to construction/equipment industry
Your role
- Your main responsibility will be sales of Hose Reinforcement Wire within Europe region
- You will work in global framework
- You will report to sales and marketing director RR Europe
- You will have operational interface with global market manager HRW
- You will mainly interact with quality, supply chain, production HRW
- You will be supported by dedicated customer service people
- Your function is based in Bekaert Hlohovec plant (Slovakia)
- You are willing to travel within Europe (30% - 50%)
Your profile
- You have Master degree, with technical background
- You have commercial skills within:
- International BtoB commodity selling
- Price/volume dynamics
- Contract negotiations
- A/R follow-up
- You speak fluent English, your knowledge of Italian or German language is an advantage
- You are customer orientated:
- Professional with customers (proper balance formal/informal)
- Commercial with sound technical feeling
- Automatic reflex to look from customer perspective
- Human interaction skills
- Relation builder
- You have business and market feeling:
- Looking beyond the transactional
- Long term mindset
- Smart and quick with financial numbers
- Able to close a deal, knowing when better to pause and close later
- Proactive, seeks and takes opportunities
- You are a good team player who:
- Works independently within clearly defined framework
