Job description, responsibilities and duties

The candidate will work in highly technical, engineering organization focusing on infrastructure automation within Telco use of private, public and hybrid cloud implementations based on industry standards.
The candidate will own the architecture and engineering of AT&T’s controller and activation workloads on Cloud platforms, focusing on both current as well as future implementation roadmap.
The candidate is required to collaborate with and mentor other developers to successfully deliver business critical, time sensitive, requirements for the AT&T SDN and Cloud initiatives.

We are looking for:
• Expert level technical professional.
• Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT cloud technologies.
• This is a hands-on role that ultimately results in the delivery of an application or service.
• Ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of virtualization and containerization technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenStack, Public Cloud offerings, Software Defined Networking and Network Function Virtualization.
• Ability to create and document application design specification for consumption by interfacing systems and application development teams.
• The selected candidate will possess excellent analysis, technical documentation and development skills.
• Contributes through own development of advanced technologies/concepts with global reach or industry application.
• Work with cross-functional DevOps teams using Agile methodologies as well as the latest industry tools like ArgoCD, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes and Java development.
• Create efficiencies via automation for server builds and server monitoring in order reduce the need for human intervention.
