Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service, including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting) and maintenance with a focus on automation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for design, development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions utilizing ServiceNow Instances. The candidate will be member of international project team with focus on planning, execution and maintenance of technical ServiceNow projects on medium level of complexity. This role will include customization, optimization and implementation of new features ranging from (but not exclusively to) front end components such as Service portals, Service catalogs, Service requests, through internal functionalities like Tables, Forms, Form’s components (i.e. UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, …), References, to backend parts like for instance Database, LDAP and 3rd party integrations via API. Role contains tasks just as administration of ServiceNow Instances, involvement in their update and update process, taking care of data within ServiceNow database and creation of multiple types of report and reporting dashboards. Candidate should be able and willing to document all executed tasks, create required test (mostly via Automated Test Framework), inform all peers about the progress and share information and knowledge.
Key Competencies and Skills:
Development skills required: HTML, CSS, excellent JavaScript (Angular is a plus), basic understanding of XML Previous experience with ServiceNow development and implementation is a plus Good understanding of SQL based databases Understanding REST and SOAP APIs Experience with Agile (preferable SCRUM) methodologies & JIRA are a plus Fluent in English language; Good written and verbal communication skills; Ability to write thorough product and process documentation
